The care of your genuine horn frames depends on how often you wear them and which environmental factors they are exposed to. You will receive a special care cream along with your buffalo horn frames. If the frames get dry, you should apply a thin layer of the cream. You can tell that the horn is dry if it become less glossy and the surface feels rough. Be sure to avoid the lenses when applying the cream. Afterwards, simply polish them gently with a soft cloth to maintain the glossiness and value of your frames over the long term.

You can use the microfiber cloth provided to clean your eyeglass lenses. Be sure to first remove any dust or dirt from the lenses and the cloth to avoid scratches. If you would like to clean the lenses with water, please only use a damp microfiber cloth. Avoid cleaning them under running water.

Your optician can of course also support you in cleaning your frames and lenses. It is advisable to have your horn-rimmed glasses professionally polished and checked from time to time.

Please note that excessively high temperatures, humidity or aggressive cleaning agents can damage your horn-rimmed glasses. Never use an ultrasonic bath to clean the frames. Do not bend the frames yourself and do not put weight on them.
