Lunor

02 - THE MANUFACTORY

Handcrafted with a sensitive touch.

Every Lunor frame passes through dozens of steps - most of them by hand. You can feel when a frame sits just right. That cannot be rushed. It takes time.

A drawing becomes a pair of glasses.

Every Lunor passes through numerous steps before it reaches its wearer. Many of them are still carried out by hand today — guided by experience, precision and the ambition to get every detail right. Because quality is not created at the end of a process. It is created at every single step.

Craft takes time.

From raw material to finished eyewear, more time passes than one might expect. Tools are developed, surfaces polished, edges refined, components adjusted and checked. Because consistent results can only come from care.

Precision is visible.

A balanced proportion. A clean transition. A rivet hinge with no play. A surface that feels flawless. Many details of a frame are only noticed when they are missing. That is why our attention is often given to things that only reveal themselves on a second look — or remain invisible.

Technology and experience.

For us, modern manufacturing and traditional craftsmanship are not opposites. Precise technologies support the process where they make sense. Yet the final judgement remains human. A finely tuned touch cannot be automated.

Not as quickly as possible. As well as possible.

Every Lunor is created through numerous steps, all with one thing in common: they are guided not by speed, but by the result. This is how eyewear is made to endure — in design, in engineering and in function.

"Yet the final judgement remains human. A finely tuned touch cannot be automated."
